What is a home inspection?
An inspection is a process where the inspector is looking at all the major components of the home or building. In addition to the major components, the inspector is also looking at approximately 1,290 other areas like safety and wear and tear items.
Why do I need to have a home inspection?
This is probably the largest investment in a person’s lifetime and should be treated as such. Major components can in some cases cost 10s of thousands of dollars if not caught before the actual purchase.
Can I attend the inspection?
I welcome my clients and family to attend the inspection. It allows the inspector a chance to explain the defects he is calling out.

We go on roofs and into crawl spaces, attics basements and check electrical, plumbing and heating and air conditioning units
What happens if there are problems found during the inspection?
We call out areas of concern and then it’s then up to the real estate agents to negotiate for the repairs or monetary compensation.
